50 year old, fixes one of the roads in his vicinity daily. People Stop their cars and bikes and give him some money which makes 400 to 500 rupees daily and he doesn’t beg. He has a disability, looks like a deformation of neck bone, by birth and unfortunately his parents couldn’t afford treatment.
He has 4 children, one of his child died two years ago while helping him out on the same road when a bus hit him. All of his children are suffering from the disabilities but again now he can’t afford treatment for them.

Sometimes in life we are so immersed in just taking, we forget to give. As soon as I was about to leave, this man says, “Chai piyeingay?” [offering tea]. And I was amazed. A man who might have nothing to offer wants to treat me.
